The Josephine Lilly Wolf Memorial Scholarship Foundation would like to thank all our attendees and donors for making the 2019 fall fundraiser a success. We know there are many
great causes to support, so we are honored and grateful that so many continue to choose us.
In an attempt to host the event during more amicable weather, the committee decided to move the event up two weeks from the 2018 date. The weather, however, did not cooperate. Despite the chilly, rainy conditions, the bean bag teams powered through and the atmosphere was both warm and enthusiastic inside and out. We raised over 18K and had a fantastic turn out!
The generosity of so many has allowed us to maintain the support of our current students and will allow us to select a new student in the spring of 2020. Without the support and contributions of the donors and attendees, it would be impossible for us to make a difference in these young people’s lives. We are hopeful these students will have a positive impact on Jamaica!
2019 was a big year for our foundation. We got more organized, became incorporated, filed the necessary paperwork for becoming a 501c(3) and designed a website. These were big hurdles and could not have been accomplished without the assistance of our great team.
So again, a huge thank you to all those that continue support our organization. We hope all enjoy the upcoming holiday season and we look forward to more great things in 2020.
